I think Hayworth blew his campaign in the internet commercial attacking Mccain for not being pro life and anti gay enough and bragging about his Christian faith and being a better Christian. Sleazy politics at it's worst.

If our country continues to go haywire by embracing these crazy politicians like Palin, Bauchman and Hayworth, I almost hope that VT may become the 3rd state in the US beside from Texas and Alaska to want to secede. Joining Canada was an option in the state constitution, and perhaps Bernie and Leahy can be convinced it is a good idea.

If Hayworth wins, which is looking like he may pull a Rubio on McCain, this would present a good pickup opportunity for Dems. He still has Abramoff hanging over his head. Did you see his interview on R. Maddow the other day? He spent the whole interview defending his dealings with Abramoff.
All I can say is this will be a very interesting election season.

Sweet!!! Go Hayworth!!! I'd love to see McCain gone! What will the media do without him... It will make his best friend Joe Lieberman cry!
Yes, Hayworth is a giant blowhard, but he won't be on Meet the Press every single week as if he has actually won the presidency.

Wow...and the primary isn't until August? Hayworth has plenty of time to pull a Rubio. McCain might be toast.
