Didn't even realize Feinstein was running for Governor.

Feinstein isn't running. In the wake of the Mass election, and Obama's mistake of picking Salazar who was from a conservative state to interior secretary, no Democrat is taking anything for granted.

It seems like the term "Anti Washington" as well as "Activist Judge" tends to be more conservative terminology. Hey, Someone like Roy Blunt or Tim Castle running for US Senate are just as much Washington people as Barbara Boxer and Diane Feinstein. Washington, my friends has an equal number of Dem. and GOP operatives. It is sort of amusing that John Thune ran attack ads against Dashle for being in Washington too much. He was majority leader, but now, John Thune spends even more time in Washington DC than Dashle did. His church is in NOrthern VA, and had the regular bible study with the Family.

I never hear progressives calling Alito and Roberts activist judges, yet they are activists for the corporations, for de-regulating the banks, as well as activism for upholding many Capital cases involving the death penalty, when lethal injection is portrayed as cruel and unusual punishment.

I agree with Williame123. If the Brown election happened in Nov instead of Jan it would be duly noted and we would move on. It would take a back seat to Reid getting beat, among others.

Lets hope the GOP doesn't take Brown as a sign that they have it in the bag. You gotta work for it.

I also agree with those who posted on the NV poll thread. Reid will most likely retire. Why take the beating he looks to get.
