Everyone needs to learn how to say Senator Blumenthal! He has this race locked up, no way he loses! It looks as if the Democrats are probably going to keep the Senate. Senator Specter is moving up in the polls, Gillibrand in NY is also safe. Also, Brad Ellsworth in Indiana has great numbers. I believe he will probably pull it off! Harry Reid leads the polls if they run a member of the Tea Party movement. The House will be what to keep an eye on. As far as the Senate goes the Democrats keep it!

There's an old saying, wish in one hand and sh*t in the other and see which hands fills up first.

One poll has Specter moving up. Gillibrand is not safe, msot polls show her trailing Pataki if he runs.

Reid does not lead even if a tea party member running, he still loses to Lowden.

IN will go red. It won't even be close on election day.

Dodd is a pansy for not running!

Jason, Specter is done and Indiana is going red. But keep the optimism up. You'll need it come November.

The Dems are now piling up the corruption and scandals. Rangel is out, the Dems now have there very own Mark Foley with this guy Massa. They are still trying to ram thru highly unpopular legislation basically spitting on the american people.....and they think they are going to win some of these swing seats.

Ok.

Its 1994, the sky is falling, the sky is falling. I don't anyone doubts Democrats losing a fair share of seats. But why is it doubted that Republicans will get control of any house?

I'm a Connecticut resident and my Republican mother has received a piece of mail from Linda every week. However, she voted for Obama and doesn't really care if she spends 50 million of her own dollars to lose a race by 25 points.

You want to talk about deficit spending just evoke the name Linda McMahon. Nate Silver should do an updated study on the most significant inverse relationships between money spent vs. total vote outcomes in races lost by candidates. She is going to own that category all by herself.

Even though Blumenthal is a political lifer in the state he CAN'T be beaten on election day. The guy has been the business television whore on CNBC & Fox-Business talking about anything related to Consumer Protectionism.

Blumenthal was smart declining Obama come for a visit to help campaign for him. He was also smart to begin touting his independence.

It's really too bad that Peter Schiff isn't making any headway in the primary or the general. The guy is brilliant. He was laughed off of every show he was on in 2007/2008 while he was telling everyone that the bubble is going to burst in a big way.

He was right and everyone else was wrong. But yeah, lets vote another career politician into the senate. What is wrong with people?

I'm a resident of CT and I will be voting for Peter Schiff. I love how he predicted the economic crisis spot on but no one will vote for him. It's sad really. This guy is smart. I mean he obviously knows more about the economy than every other career politician so why not vote him in? It shouldn't matter what your politics are. He was right.

As far as social issues go, he is pretty Libertarian and he is for less war (saving more money). Everyone of all social economic classes, races, and all politics can rally behind Schiff.
