That is good news for me if this poll is correct. Mcmahon has no experience and Simmons polls much higher against Dodd than Mcmahon does. She sort of reminds me a little of Carly Fiorina in CA.

this would be good news for Dodd as Simmons is by far his biggest threat. But it still will be a tough race.

Dodd will win. I don't have confidence in Harry Reid, Arlen Specter or blanche lincoln as much but Dodd is one hell of a debater in the Senate. I have seen him first hand ripping opponents to shreds. In the past I have noticed that GOP candidates try to pick fights with him during debates and he fires back at them to the point they come out looking stupid. CT has a 15 percent Democratic advantage and turnout in CT is higher in midterms than either Nevada or Arkansas.

If there was any fellow democrat I wouldn't want to debate in a primary, it is Chris Dodd.
