This is strange that a state like CT has a Democrat for governor ahead by 10, yet for the US Senate by 3. This is a role reversal for states in the northeast. I mean Foley at least is experienced, but Mcmahon is just a wrestling sidekick who allowed tremendous steroid use to go on in the industry. I would like Blumenthal to fight back harder.

Oh DEMS will fight tooth and nail for this seat. This is a solid DEM state and they are not about to let McMahon slip into office.

My attitude toward this tough election year for DEMS is I don't care if the Democratic candidate wins with 50% plus 1 as long as they win. That is what this election year is shaping up to be. It doesn't matter if Blumenthal, Manchin, Feingold, etc. win by 100 votes...they still win and get to be seated as Democratic Senators next year.

Plus this is CT, a state where Obama is quite popular, this isn't West Virginia where his approval is deplorable or even Wisconsin.

Malloy and McMahon will win. Blumenthal is our Martha Coakley except uglier. And the best "experience" these days is to have never have been involved with cronies in Washington.

If someone doesn't know how to perform work in the public sector, I want them going to the public sector. The most destructive thing in our country is incumbents that know their way around Washington.

That's why I don't mind voting for someone with extreme views. If someone is running describing them self as a libertarian or as a socialist, at least they are running because they believe they are right, not because they are bought and paid for by Wall Street and just want to be elected.
