He may be a joke, but he is something else. The soon to be junior Senator from the state of Delaware.

Emily,
In the Match-up between O'Donnell and Coons, O'Donnell is at 41%.

I am not so sure now that the Reps are going to win this seat. Coons is actually within striking distance. He can change voter's minds since he is unknown in state. Castle is pretty known so most people have formed an opinion of him already. I am surprised at Obama's approval in DE though. Markell is well liked though.

Castle has a 60% favorable rating. He is well regarded there. This is a Republican year. Castle will win this in a walk.

Mike Castle has been involved in Delaware politics for over forty years and still cant crack 50%?

CHRIS MERKEY:

I am in DE every other week. I haven't seen any signs for either candidate yet. I agree Hoosier. The conservatives on here would say that about LIncoln or Reid can't crack 50 but when it is a Republican, he will win it in a walk. Voting against DADT didn't help either I believe. Biden can campaign here for him also. That will be a big boost to him.

An upset in the making? Delaware might end up wanting a younger freshman senator than Castle. And Castle might lose votes because he's not a mouthfoaming right-winger.

Am so sick in tired of all these so call Moderate Republicans pretending to be Moderate, because once they get elected they vote 99% of the time against the Democrat agenda. When are the Independents going to wakeup in stop voting for these liars.

Castle is old school. Expect him to cross party lines like Brown, Snowe, ect.

plus it's Rasmussen.

HoosierDaddy:

A hardcore conservative would find it tough to win in DE, Castle does have big time name recognition and because of that he starts with an advantage.

Isn't Mike Castle 700 years old? Wait, isn't that the average age in the Senate? These old geezers aren't going to move this country forward. Seriously.
