I hope during his debate, he'll be asked a question about "end of life counseling". Not that it would matter in Georgia, but he was the original person who brought that up. It wasn't brought up by Obama. Obama might have quoted Isaakson just to be his sometimes naive, bipartisan self, and as the GOP is so good at doing, Sarah Palin twisted it into a new concept of "death panels".

A politician used hyperbole to make her point? Well that's a first.

The debate about what health care is worth to extend life a few months is a tough one. My professor used to ask us how much of the hypothetical million dollars you had (and you had a wife and young kids) you would spend to extend your life 6 months.

There was an article yesterday about such a debate.

While the senate seat is much more important, the governors race is still valuable since Ohio will most likely lose 2 seats. With 10 of 18 seats held by Dems (which will probably drop to 7 after Nov) the governor has a chance to drop them down to 5.
