I guess the only time a GOP candidate can win in Hawaii is when you have a pompous Democratic candidate who insists he is better than a sweet middle aged Japanese lady. I guess Rep. Zhou at least can experience his career in Washington for 8 months. It is sort of like a long vacation! Perhaps if I lived in Idaho, the same thing could have happened to me if there were two tea party candidates against me in a special election.

They are so Un-American liking Obama and Inouye. Santorum is a fool attacking Obama's being able to identify with Americans because he was from Indonesia and Hawaii which Santorum might have been reading the bible instead of his history book but it has been a state since 1959. I am quoting another blogger from another website but thought it was a great quote. Well I guess the people of PA didn't identify with him so much either since he lost by 20 points ( the biggest incumbent loss since 1980.) Inouye is now going to the be the senate pro tempore too. I guess Lingle isn't going to be a great Republican candidate to field either. I wonder why Rasmussen didn't try to add her to his polls. Sort of the way he was trying to recruit Pataki and Thompson.
