Those are good numbers for Obama.

Pollster is wrong; it's 49 to 46 in GA. These numbers have been out for a while now and they're just posting them up now, and incorrectly. With the speed at which these polls come these days, pollster needs to get up on it's feet and move fast.

Almost all the numbers are wrong in the pollster.com post by Justin ... the sample size is reversed between Ohio and Georgia and the Georgia numbers are incorrect ...

With the expected record African American turnout, Any poll this close is GREAT NEWS for me, you, Obama, and most of all, the American people because Obama is the change we need!!!!

Georgia is pretty much like Indiana. Obama's campaign weren't fooling when they had the operation running in Georgia, although a win there would signal a landslide. Nevertheless, McCain's slide just continues.

Well, I see GA went pink. Do you remember back in May when we had all the Clinton trolls here saying that this talk about Obama changing the map was laughable? Well, notice that THE MAP IS CHANGING!

Given the fact that McCain is now getting booed by Republicans at his rallys when he tries to tamp down the overly-aggressive crowd, and we could be looking at a map that more resembels 1944 than anything else.

If Obama's people see these Georgia numbers, they'll be booking the Georgia Dome for a huge rally right away.

I think the problem in Georgia for McCain is Sarah Palin. They watched her in the debate and realized she's never been close to the red clay of Georgia. I mean in Georgia, self respecting southerners DO NOT say words like "darn" and "you betcha" South of the Mason Dixon line we say "Damn!" and "Hell yeah!" Palin's a Yankee. They don't like Yankees in Georgia. :)

Everyone ought to forget about worrying about this election. I think we need to start thinking about getting up on our hind-legs and imploring our decent GOP brothers and sisters to take back their party. The nutcases and criminals and haters who seem to attend and dominate the GOP rallies, if that is the base, then I think the GOP can kiss the party goodbye for a generation. Most of this country is becoming more interracial and multiracial and ethnically complex. We need conservatives to think about how to compete politically and fairly in a rapidly changing world. We're not in Kansas any more. Conservatism is a great tradition and we need a loyal opposition to bide its time and keep the Democrats honest and figure out how to shape ideas and mold new policies in light of the new challenges and vulnerabilities that a globalized economy poses. Inevitably the pendulum will shift again, and we want decent, sane, civil Americans taking over the reins. I have to say that if god forbid anything happens to Obama before or after the election, I believe McCain and that brainless blob of protplasm of a VP candidate have really reaped the wild wind. Please, for the sake of the country and for the sake of keeping our national community, real conservatives, real Republicans take back your party from the fascists, racists, and flat-out ignoramuses who seem to have occupied it.

Hear hear, Boris. It's really frightening and repugnant that the Republican ticket is drumming up this kind of rage and racism, trying to paint Barack Hussein Obama as connected to terrorists, receiving money illegally from Palestine, and as somebody who "doesn't see America the way you and I do". Have they forgotten what happened to Martin Luther King? Have they forgotten what happened to John F. Kennedy? Have they forgotten what happened to their own greatest figure, Abraham Lincoln?

It's not just a stupid strategy for winning the election (that kind of crap really turns off independent voters; it only works with the racists who were going to vote against Obama anyways). It is inviting violence and, potentially, a national tragedy.

Obama has soooo many states in play that it's amazing. Georgia within the margin of error? And to think GWB won it handily in 2004 with almost a 17% advantage.
