A new Strategic Vision (R) statewide survey among likely Republican and Democratic Iowa caucus goers finds:
- Among Republicans, former Mayor Rudy Giuliani (at 25%) runs four points ahead of Sen. John McCain (21%). Former Speaker Newt Gingrich receives 13%.
- Among Democrats, Sen. John Edwards (at 25%) runs ahead of Barack Obama (17%), former Gov. Tom Vilsack (16%), and Sen. Hillary Clinton (15%).
- 77% of likely Republican caucus goers do not see Bush as "a conservative Republican in the mode of Ronald Reagan."
