Too Bad it wasn't the Grayson from Florida running. KY is one of those states that is a lost cause when it comes to electing decent politicians. After years of Jim Bunning and Mitch Mcconnell you would think they could do better.

The Grayson from Florida that is certifiably nuts? He is awesome. He paints a great picture for people of the true Democratic party.

If you haven't done so, visit www.mycongressmenisnuts.com.

Ya if only KY could bring us great and wise leaders such as Pelosi and Reid. Stupid KY.

Stillow, I remember when you said Rudy would run for senate. You were WRONG WRONG WRONG!

Field Marshal:

I'm highly disappointed he isn't running. He would be a great addition to this senate. Of course, a chimp would be a great addition to THIS senate.

Stillow:

Y poor Rudy. Maybe he is making to much money in the private sector. Maybe he will still pull a Kerry and change his mind about changing his mind???

FM - yes, this Senate under Reid has been reduced to a bribe fest. How embarrassing how the Dems have taken this once great instittituion and turned it into an episode of Lets Make a Deal....

Oh, please... guess DeMint and his other "protestors" will be willing to give up the billions of dollars in earmarks they've gotten over the years?

Notice it's only the red state politicians that can be "bought"--i.e. Landrieu, Nelson, etc. I sit any wonder that red states are welfare states, getting way more federal money than they pay in taxes?

Stillow:

Uhhh, when did Dodd and Sanders represent red states?

Field Marshal:

Stillow,

The outright bribing that is going on in the public's eye is unprecedented and will only result in more of a swing in 2010, IMO.

Reid is this terms Daschle. I would also bet that even if the Reps dont take back the house that Pelosi will most likely be ousted as speaker for her atrocious leadership.

Pelosi's leadership has been nothing short of amazing... She's managed to keep those abhorrent blue dogs in line and herd the hundreds of cats under her wing.

Now, Reid... he's pathetic... He did manage some decent negotiations in the end of this health care bill, but it was too little too late. Of course, it doesn't help when the president undercuts you./ Still, he promised a public option and failed. He won't return. We shall see Schumer as Majority Leader. He knows how to crack skulls, unlike his predecessor.

FM - it is amazing they are doing this in the open. It is pure bribery. Obama and the Dems promised us change during the campaign of 2008. Talked about open deliberation and negotiations on cspan...and of course it all being done behind closed doors. We were promised bi partisnanship and of course the Dems refused GOP access to most of the disucssions.

This is the most hyper partisan president in Congress that we have seen in a very logn time.

Reid, Pelosi and Obama have brought our politics to a new low and are taking it lower as this process drags on.

Grayson From Florida is a man with guts who has not been afraid to take on a health care system that has been responsible for many early deaths in America. He is absolutely correct. Harry Reid got slammed by Fox news and the right wing for comparing tolerance for Slavery in the pre-civil war south to our nation tolerating the status quo in the health care crisis. Medicare was opposed by Reagan and other conservatives in the mid 1960's and now 97 percent of AMericans think it works quite well. I believe that 40 years down the road, Michelle Bachman will only be rememebered by the fringe group conservatives and we will be thankful for the leaders who took a stand to create affordable health care. I was personally disappointed that no Republicans, even Snowe or Collins are supporting this bill. It is sad that fixing a system in which our nation spends 2-3 times more on health care rescources that are not even needed, that it is decided along party lines.

Why is it that the South never changes? It is just a typical mid-term witch hunt of those Democrats who are corrupting the values of America. When times are tough though, they will always take their handouts from the government like they did after Katrina and the federal government gave it to the wrong people while screwing others. That is what the south can thank the GOP for.

I didn't think they gave any handouts because Bush hated black people?

Or am I getting my rhetoric mixed up again?

First off, its conservatives like me paying all your damn bills. Everytime one of you libs gets an idea, you come chasing me down, kick me i nthe face and steal hte money right from my pocket. You should be on your knees thanking God conservatives like me exist or there'd be no one to steal money from to pay for your big g'ment crap you shove down everyoens throats.

Oh and by the way, you can look up red state counties who are the biggest recipients of g'ment aid, guess what? They are overwhelmingly all thye blue counties.

FM - Do you see why libs cannot change? This guy actually thinks Grayson is sane and is a good statesman. I think he trully beleives that and isn't jus tsaying it to make a point here.

X - You missed my point. Libs are NOT generous with their own money. they are only generous with everyone elses money. Look up polling on charitable donations between libs and cons...its not even close. Conservatives are for mroe generous, while libs talk a big game, but they only like spending my money, not there own.

Libs bitch and moan about needing to pay more, no one is stopping you libs from giving your money to g'ment so they can do all the good you want.

But no, you come after me every time. Libs always have there hands in my pockets and never in there's. Hollywood morons like Moore go around talking about how evil capitalism is and how greed and the accumulation of wealth is evil...ye the has no problem enjoying his millions....driving around in private jets and limo's while telling me like me to pay more in taxes.....................

"First off, its conservatives like me paying all your damn bills."

That's funny...so why is it I sign my checks with my name and not "Stillow?" It sure seems like the money is coming out of my account, not his. What wonderful stereotyping you do Stillow!

"Look up polling on charitable donations between libs and cons"

I'm insulted. I give what I can to a number of charities and I don't make a lot of money. Speak for your damn self.

There aren't many studies on this and the one Stillow refers to was biased. I'm assuming it was Arthur Brooks's book "Who really cares," which said conservatives give more than liberals. Well, his own numbers showed that "moderates" give less than both cons AND libs so what does that tell you? Conservatives go to church more, religious people give more than secular people, churches count as charity giving, so there you are. They also give more to arts organizations (opera, symphony foundations, etc...). In both cases, much of their giving is to organizations that they benefit from, and they are likely being directly asked to give. That study didn't count volunteer hours, distinguish between types of giving, etc... Basically, just because people who call themselves conservatives give more $$$ to *some type* of charity DOES NOT MEAN they are more GENEROUS. The relation between political affiliation and generosity would be nearly impossible to quantify, but leave it to Stillow to treat a talking point as fact.

Aaron, that response could easily be destoryed and you know it....but in the spirit of the holidays I will hold back.

Enjoy the next week you libs, I'm out for a week.....

At the ris kof being insensitive to all you Christain mocking, religion hating, progressive/liberal intelectual serperiors to us dumb ole conservatives, Merry Christmas.

Yeah, I know it alright. I'll look forward to you destroying me when you come back.

Merry Christmas to you!

Oh, wait.. Obviously, since I'm a liberal you know, I don't celebrate Christmas. I don't go to church nor believe in God. Neither do I love my family, pay my bills, or work hard. Nope, not at all. I mock religion and consider myself superior to dumb conservatives. You know the ones who hunt their reindeer with assault weapons, haul it back home with their F-350s with oversized tires and country music blaring, then eat it for Christmas dinner.

The people I gave gifts to will be sending you a thank you note for paying for their presents.

Merry Christmas nonetheless.

Rand Paul has came out of no where to lead this race I don't believe it's not a bigger story. If he wins the primary I am going to be glued to this political battle. Anti war conservative against the supposed anti war (not really) democrat. Should be fun.
