IdahoMulato: I think you underestimate just how liberal MA is. Even though Patrick is extremely unpopular, they might just re-elect him rather than elect a Republican.

Mitt Romney was kind of a red herring; he was very centrist, even slightly left-leaning, when he was governor there.
