Boy, do Mainers vote the person. Obama is up 5, but Collins (R) is up 10.
I'd like to see Allen closer.
Perhaps a push by Obama get get more Democrats in the Senate could help. Or a depressed Republican base.
Nothing to see here folks. Move along.
collins seems to be one of the LAST reputable Republicans so I am not surprised whe stands out...still be nice to have her switch and go Dem after teh election!
Any way of knowing the breakdown of congressional district in this poll?
So how many electoral votes does McCain plan on taking in Maine?
These obamatrons are pathetic! When MacCain threatens to take over a blue state they try to dismiss it, but when Obambo takes over a red state it's the greatest thing since sliced bread..plz!!!

Yeah because Obama ACTUALLY does what he says. Are you blind? Don't you see that map up there? Colorado, Florida, Iowa, New Mexico are light BLUE. And Nevada, Ohio, Virginia, and North Carolina are trending towards Obama. And these where all 'Red State'. Now what blue state is McCain going to take??? Maine aint going nowhere with its **4** ELECTORAL VOTES!!
That's all that is left now. A +5 for Obama is "McCain threatens to take over a blue state" used to dismiss +10's for Obama in traditionally red states. I guess we must be winning.

A slight increase for Obama compared to the previous one taken by the same pollster 2 weeks ago
Rasmussen 09/17 - 09/17 500 LV 50 46 Obama +4
Actually 1 point increase is statistically insignificant
By the way Kerry carried this state by +8 while Gore did by a margin of 5
