Obama 45, McCain 45
Won't Minnesota being turning yellow with these two polls?

There is not a single poll that has shown McCain in the lead in this state. Have you looked at the internals.
The SurveyUSA is consistent with their previous polls.

First time poll? Let's wait to compare this with the next iteration. Also being nearly tied in the under 35 vote in MN makes no sense.
On the other hand SUSA shows stability between polls. Given that SUSA was too generous to McCain in the first go-round +2 for Obama may be about right at this time.
Prediction--- Obama won't go below this level; look for him to be +4 to +5 in SUSA MN coming out of the debates

like.. OMG Greg in Charlotte!
go check out Snopes.com
yet another smear tactic.. save it for some other website. this stuff doesnt belong on pollster.com - your comment has nothing to do with a poll whatsoever --- and my apologies to other pollster readers, mine does not either.. but frankly its getting annoying.
i come to this site to get updated poll data and to hear educated informed folks discuss and debate the quality of the polls.. NOT mudslinging towards Obama or Palin or McCain.
I have my own opinions about the candidates, but i dont share them here-- i save that for a letter to the editor, or some other outlet in the blogsphere... but posts that criticize or smear the candidates with no context to the polls they are discussing dont belong here..

Yes, I agree with the first post noting the need for MN to be yellow. There is no justification for keeping it blue, unless one counts a now-stale (pre-convention) CNN poll that used *registered* voters as its sample. From 45 days onward, only *likely* voters should be used in samples.
