this is a no brainer. Why wouldn't you vote for Marshall? She does so much better against Burr.

small sample, many undecided. Only 300 in "decided" sample from which these numbers were drawn. We need to wait a bit and see how things shake out. The next PPP poll should show some kind of trend here.

The reason the dccc is backing cal over elaine marshall is because he is an iraq war veteran and relatively a political outsider. They believe this will be a plus in an off year where there is so much anger for the washington bunch and as a result people are looking for fresh faces. However I agree elaine marshall is the stronger candidate. Her base of white women, which are often swing voters, is less likely to flee her come november. But it is not a no brainer.

For some reason, North Carolina voters still like Cunningham despite jmartin's insistence that they are all stupid dumb morons if they do so. That's odd.
