I can't believe Obama is above 61 pts in NC. Are North carolinian blaming Perdue for the economic crisis facing the state or something else?

Keep in mind that this poll measured his Favorable numbers, not Approval. Having said that, however, looking at the comparisons to the month prior, it certainly appears as if Pres. Obama is currently escaping blame:
Pres. Obama (4/21-23 in parenthesis)
Favorable 61 (60)
Unfavorable 29 (29)
+1 Favorable, -0 Unfavorable = 1 point positive swing
Gov. Perdue (4/21-23 in parenthesis)
Favorable 36 (44)
Unfavorable 38 (35)
-8 Favorable, +3 Unfavorable = 11 point negative swing
Sen. Burr (4/21-23 in parenthesis)
Favorable 31 (33)
Unfavorable 19 (17)
-2 Favorable, +2 Unfavorable = 4 point negative swing
