I really wish John Lynch had just run for this senate seat.

This race hasn't even started yet ... Some fund raising type stuff and an ad up by Ayotte mostly talking generic stuff ... The people of NH will demand to hear the candidates positions on the issues and not a bunch of lip service.

Ayotte's ratings will fall towards earth at some point as voters become familiar with her positions rather than her positioning; but is there something more to Hodes lackluster ratings than the fact that he's perceived as a liberal?

If not then it's a bad year thus far in NH for any liberal (as it is in many other parts of the country). If so, does anyone know? Is there some other negative publicity or scandal or gaffes that are relevant?

It seems kind of strange that the Kentucky candidates have a better chance of winning than the NH candidates. It's too early to tell with either race. It seems to me that it has to with the individual candidates. I don't know Conway that well but it seems like he is well liked in KY. Ayotte seems to be well liked in New Hampshire. It will be an interesting mid-term election. NV, Ar, PA, CO, NH, FL, KY, Az, MO, OH, NC, IN, IL, CA. I wouldn't place any kind of bet on any of these states yet either way.
