Anohter very strong poll result for Christie....he seems, based on polling, to have a solid 10+ point lead....

The most interesting part of this poll is that even with Christie's current overwhelming lead among Independents, all Corzine has to do is consolidate his support among Democrats to Christie's level among Republicans.

If he does that, and there is NO change in Independent support (unlikely because if he manages to pull in some Dems back into his fold, he'll likely get some Indys) he actually leads in this poll 48/45 thanks to the large Dem party ID advantage.

Christie has the advantage, but this race is FAR from over.

At this point Corzine will be lucky to stop Dems from leaving.....NJ is in the top 5 of the wrost state economies i nthe country....even Dems at some point realize a duck is a duck....so I wouldn't be tonm him to much getting much more support than he already has, he shoudl be worried about losing more support....he is headed for a double digit loss....these days a 6 or 7+ point victory is considered a landslide almost.
