Wait til Angle opens her big mouth about killing social security. Harry Reid will win this race. Mason/Dixon is the next most conservative pollster to Rasmussen.

My only problem with this year's races are Harry Reid's son isn't that strong of a candidate for governor. Will enough voters be able to split their ticket for Reid to win.

The tea party cometh.

Am I going to have to boycott purchasing tea?

I am sort of clueless about how Nevada politics works. Reid has a strong pro-life record, and based on Angle's web site, she seems to pretty much want to criminalize it, as well as her attacks on equal rights to gay couples. That doesn't just mean opposition to gay marriage but she supports a "don't ask don't tell" attitude in every aspect of life not just the US Military.
What bothers me is that the state seems to love Casinos and in many towns prostitution is legal. For crusaders in family values, that seems to be hypocrisy to me.
In Vermont, support for recognized legal rights for gays is at least 65 percent. The state is considering a Universal health care overhall which could use state money to free up federal money for medicaid in other states.
Things in Nevada that are considered Taboo are not tolerated in Vermont and vice versa. Casinos have been never allowed here; there are only a few adult entertainment places in VT, few adult book shops. In Nevada I saw them on every corner. In Vermont liquor stores are operated by the state, and in Nevada I saw hard alcohol at convenience stores and Rite Aid. It was kind of amusing.

Tarkanian is def strongest candidate but seems GOP will nominate Angle and improve Dem hopes...still tossup but I say D +2-3 especially if Angle is candidate. This race is going to be insanely close, but from where it was a couple of months ago, things are looking a lot better for the majority leader in this one.

Harry Reid has had a rotten deal from his state. I admire for wanting to even run for another term and wanting to serve a state that has been so vicious to him over the past two years. With the poor morals of their other senator, Ensign, and Gov. Gibbons, infidelity, It would really be unfortunate to see Reid go down this year.

It doesn't seem as though Reid's son has come up in the polls vs Sandoval. I think Harry can win this, but having his son running for Governor at the same time is a little strange.
I already predict Sean Hannity is just waiting to to talk about this being a historic election.."hey they are the first father and son team to lose the same night. THat is historic!"

@farleft
Gibbons is going to be defeated as well, in his primary, which is worse. Ensign is not on the ballot. People don't like Gibbons due to scandal, and Reid due to politics (though Reid could still win). My question is what does these have to do with each other? Why does this make it unfortunate for Reid to lose, if he does? The people are going to punishing Gibbons as well, and Ensign, well, we'll see, he might have lucked out on the timing of his scandal.

I am not from Nevada so it won't make much of a difference to me who wins, but Harry Reid is a principled Senator who has been independent in his voting record, and is a good person. His possible opponents have no experience, and have ideas that are way out of the mainstream. Angle thinks they should destroy the education dept.
Everyone complains about this thing called "big government" it is like this American rebellion against this "big government". When people need help from the government though, for a mortgage, from the oil spill, for college or for whatever else, they don't hate so much. That is my problem with the far right.
Go Harry.

Regardless of this poll, HonestLeft, I have to ask you: Do I really need to read 7 different posts of yours out of 10 comments, isn't there a more succinct way of expressing your activism?

I think all the GOP senate candidates are losers. Angle wants to destroy the Dept of education. Check out her web site. She will want to privatize social security as well. I bet she'll try to tell people she is libertarian, but just wait until Obama decides to want to withdraw troops from Afghanistan for a few years, she will be probably talking ... See Moreabout bombing Iran. Conservatives are such hypocrites and liars. They hate the idea of a welfare state yet, on defense, their spending habits are out of control.

LOL.
Yeah, but that is only okay if you are a dem. If you are on the right, then you are a radical far-right extremist who will lose as soon as people "hear" their ideas.

I thought this was going to be a cakewalk for the Republicans.Angle is a far-right nut like Rand Paul,as soon as the voters in Nevada here about how this guy wants to elimnate social security in most domestic programs. So am betting this guy wont stand a chance against Senator Reid.

I'm sure Harrys' numbers will go up once he starts testifying in Blogos' corruption trial.

I think Angle is now a slight favorite to win the primary even though I'm not fully confident on that one due to her terrible ads and the poor quality of the campaign she is running. Angle is only winning the primary because she has latched on to the angry national mood aided by the help of the tea party. If Angle does win this tuesday, I think this race goes back from lean R to pure tossup because due to the poor quality of Angle's campaign and her extremist views I have a hard time seeing her get enough crossover votes and moderate votes. People tend to forget that Nevada is not a blood red state and trending blue on a presidential level. My problem when analyzing an Angle vs. Reid scenario is that I have a hard time seeing either one of them winning statewide in November. I'm interested to see Rothenberg's analysis on this one if Angle wins on Tuesday night.

Angle and Club for Death support. This'll be a fun race win or lose!

Angle will save Harry Reid. Poetic Justice for the Senate Majority Leader.
