The GOP already thinks they won back the House...They're planning to repeal the HCB immediately, but most of they're voters don't know you need 2/3 of both Houses to overturn a veto, they're also planning to investigate some people in the Whitehouse Administration....Obama in the Dems should immediately after the Midterms indict Bush, Cheney,Rumsfeld,Ashcroft, and Rice for War crimes....The GOP wants to impeach Obama immediately, because they say he violated the constitution...Its time Obama indict these people RIGHT NOW!!!

Field Marshal:

Oddly, i agree with melvin. I think the Dems and Obama should indict Bush et al of war crimes. It would ensure not only they lose the house but the senate as well and seal Obama's fate in 2012.

Thaddeus:

Just wait until you see the GOp House FM, Bachmann up here is already talking about all of the investigations she's planning on opening of the Obama administration. And several others are talking impeachment proceedings. The one thing people have to give this House is they didn't follow the left-wingers into endless investigations of Bush era people.

In this race, as long as the focus is on Angle then Reid will squeak by. He needs to continue to relentlessly hammer her far rightwing views and keep highlighting what he has done and will do for Nevada as Majority Leader.

The GOP in the media are presuming Minorities are not going to go to the polls in Nov....If the Dems keep power in the Congress it would be the most embarrassing thing in history that has ever happen to the Media, because they already have the GOP taking over the House...The Dems are heavily favored now in 9 Districts that belongs to Republicans, that means the GOP have to win 48 seats with no money..Latinos voted heavily in the ARZ,and FL Primaries on Tuesday, the media is not telling you Hispanics was 30% of the vote in FL on Tuesday...This is not 1994,when the Minority vote was only 8%,its going to be very tough for the GOP to win 20 seats!!let alone 48.

billwy:

First of all, Melvin, saying 9 GOP seats are in serious jeopardy is a major stretch. DE-AL, IL-10, Cao's seat in LA and one or two others. But Cao is closer than some have thought. The dems will not win 9 seats.
Furthermore, citing 30% hispanic vote in FLA. isn't helping your argument. Hispanics in FLA. are the most evenly divided politically because of Cuban voters.
You are also wrong about the GOP repealing HC. They will run on that, but they don't have the guts to pull it. I wish they would, but they won't. Even if they could.

____________________

Field Marshal:

Agreed Billwy. Just like Bachmann will run on investigations, there will be none. The lefties including Pelosi did this too. Now, they did hold many investigations on Bush, the war etc. but Obama smartly squashed the nuts in congress.

What do Angle,Paul,Buck,Rubio,Toomey,Miller,Ayotte,Portman, and Burr all have in common? Not one of them is going to have a Debate this fall with its opponent, this has never happen in the history of politics...Why isn't the media reporting this?..Angle,Paul,Buck,and Toomey will only give Fox interviews...The media is not reporting this at all..The media is trying they're best to give the GOP a shot of winning back the Senate, because this is unprecedented what the Republicans are doing.

Colorado just approved a new ballot measure that will be on the november ballot. It says "all persons should have the right of health care choice." Additionally the proposal notes that choice would overrule any law, where it be state or federal, that requires "individuals to buy insurance, join a health-care exchange or accept government-subsidized care."

Basically, an anti-ObamaCare mandate similar to what was voted on in Missouri.

Why is Fox News, and Joe Scarboughh is pushing Bloomberg to run for President in 2012?...Ill tell you why..They realize the GOP don't have the numbers to defeat Obama, because the GOP cant count on getting 64% of White voters..The former campaign manager for Ford was on MSNBC,and Fox News last week stating the GOP will never win back the Whitehouse unless a Democratic leaning independent take votes from the Democrats, because he said the Demographics is going to destroy the Republican party...Since that interview Joe Scarbough, and Fox News has been on a mission to pump up Bloomberg, because Bloomberg do think like a Democrat....By 2020 Bozo can run as a Democrat in beat the Republicans, because by then the GOP will need 70% of White voters to compete.

Melvin,
I said this last week sometime. Paul has been on MSNBC-particularly on Rachel Maddow.
I don't know where you got your information on debates-if you're correct that is dissapointing. But to be honest, I can't imagine that there will not be a debate in all of those races.

The GOP decided right after Obama was elected to turn White Northerner's into thinking the way Southerners think...The GOP is not running against Democrats on policies, they're running against Democrats on racial issues, because it is working for them...When the redistricting take place next year, the Democrats is going to gain bigtime, because 30 lean red districts are going to become tossup districts, and 24 tossup districts are going to become lean blue districts...The Dems is just buying time, waiting for the clock to run out on the Republican party..The Census is reporting its going to be the biggest change for districts demographically wise, since the Blacks migrated from the South to the North back in the 50s

You are right Melvin. I am not sure optimistic as you that the angry whites who are being fooled by the GOP's fear tactics are just in the south. They have obviously being affected in California, PA, OH and NV just to name a few.

I will never regain any respect for Nevada if they elect this crazy lady. It would be downright creepy to see her on the senate floor.

billwy: When Paul won the Republican nomination he came on Rachel show in got destroyed by Rachel, but after that this guy has been dodging the mainstream media...Paul in Angle was caught on tape actually running from the cameras...Paul was on MSNBC almost 4 months ago,and that was the only interview he gave someone outside of Fox News.

If any GOP candidates refuse to debate their opponents, in any of the competitive races, it would only hurt the Republican than help them. Scott Brown debated well against Coakley, and seemed somewhat sincere, but if they are going to be this arrogant this Fall, especially the know nothings like Sharron Angle, it will only hurt them.

Rand Paul, may decide not to debate Conway because he plays the roll of both candidates in telling the listeners what his opponent believes, and than COnway has to tell them, he doesn't take the position on such issues.

It's Kentucky where a majority of people probably liked Paul more when he went off on liberalism on the Rachel Maddow show.

Just like I love Kucinich and Bernie sanders even more when they defend themselves on Fox news.

"anti-ObamaCare mandate similar to what was voted on in Missouri" in CO?

Good news, FM.

I think Buck was very safe even without this, but this prop could even put Gov race into play. Will certainly boost GOP in any close congressional races. This will really bring the voters out. The good ones:-)

Remember: in MO, more people voted on Prop C than all Senate primaries combined. Voters truly are incensed by bobocare.

MikeyA:

You're right FM, they've provided a lot for me to laugh at.

I damn near pissed myself I was laughing so hard when Melvin suggested the Dems would pick up seats in redistricting. Too funny.

____________________

Farleftandproud:

But, regardless of what direction our country is heading righties, don't you think the GOP candidates owe it to their opponents to have a debate? Isn't the seat they are running for belonging to the people of that state, not the GOP and the people who will vote for them?

____________________

billwy:

They should debate-but have I missed the article being referenced saying they won't? Just for some history-in Md.'s last gubenatorial (sp?) election between Ehrlich=O'Malley, they could not agree on the terms of a debate for several months. Then they bizzarly ended up having two on one day. It's not like a presidential debate setup where you have a commission whcih works with both sides. You have a lot of negotiating between the camps and each side coming out trying to look better saying thigns like "they won't debate me! What have they got to hide"...I would be shocked if there is not at least one debate on each of these races.

Lastly...I want to take a shot at the DailyKos. This site being owned by HuffPo won't like this suggestion. But someone ought to do an article about Jed Lewison's misleading post over there. On it he insinuates that Angle voters are regretting having supported her in the primary because she is stupid (he doesn't say stupid, but makes it sound like a bunch of chickens would be more competent, which is practically the same thing.) What he doesn't take into account is that they may well be regretting their decision because Sue Lowden (pre-chicken comments) or Danny Tarkanian would have already put this race away. His post is very misleading.

Farleftandproud:

I can't say for sure if Republicans will lose seats in redistricting, but I have done research on that, and redistricting doesn't make that much of a difference when it comes to trying to divide districts up so it is more favorable to the Republicans. So many districts are changing, and when the climate is better for the Democrats, I believe the 50 state strategy will work.

Besides, Democrats have had some very recent conservatives in their party elected to tough districts. Walt Minnick in Idaho, may have a shot to win this year. This is Idaho, and he is so conservative, he may have a shot.

Hispanics in CA, TX and Florida are moving more to areas that are predominately white like when I was in Orange county last year, it was heavily Hispanic, and when I was there as a kid it was mostly white. I think gerrymandering won't have the benefit for the GOP that it had back in the 90's.

Please, folks, don't rely on any "facts" Melvin posts. here is the reference to the debate schedule in Colorado (Buck and Bennett will debate). http://www.gjsentinel.com/news/articles/club_20_sets_election_debates

From the article, the only Colorado candidate who is ducking debate is John Salazar (Democrat brother of Secretary Ken Salazar in the Obama administration). he has not agreed to a debate against Republican Tipton for his house seat. Imagine that!
