Sandoval did himself no favors with his idiotic comment that he has no issue with the AZ law visa vie his children because they "don't look hispanic". Hey Brian- open mouth insert foot!

He said what about his kids???!!!
Well, at least he didn't deny they ARE his kids.
His opponent is running around denying that his daddy is his daddy.

State Poly,
Apparently Univison has him dead to rights on this via a videotape. What's worse is that he turned around and lied about ever saying it. Harry Reid's "negro dialect" comment about Obama a couple of years ago was also a very stupid thing to say, but at least he was not referring to his own children.

Perhaps Sandoval's kids look like "mongrels".
That's not derogatory, is it?

Well if there's anything to be learned from the Shirley Sherrod ordeal, it's that you can't jump to conclusions until you know the full context of a statement like that. IF he really said that and the ENTIRE tape is revealed, then yes, that's an awful/stupid thing to say. But until then, it's all speculation.

Sandoval's comments are just as irrelevant to his suitability as a candidate as Reid's were. This is what our country's political discourse has come to. The media thinks we're too stupid to hear nuanced debates and stories about the issues (and they're probably right), so they focus on "gaffes" made my candidates and other sensational nonsense instead. Pitiful.

This doesn't look completely terrible for Reid, however those favorability spreads will keep this from becoming an actual contest.

Reid is going to get 90% of the Hispanic vote,Sandoval just killed his chances. The Republicans true feelings about Hispanics are coming out, yesterday Lindsey Graham showed his true feelings and he is considered a moderate.Am sure the Hispanic community is going to say enough is enough.

Frankly, this race has narrowed.

The Major Media TV or Websites is doing the Republicans a big favor, because they refuse to even mention what lindsey graham said on fox News yesterday. In now it just confirms the Major Media wants to see the GOP win back the House,so that they can have a huge story to talk about the next day.If a Democrat would have said something that controversial it would calls a up roar at Fox News. This is far worst what Shirley Sherrod said, and it was said by a well respected Senator.

"melvin:

Or they aren't mentioning it because they have half a brain in their head and realize that it is not breaking news every time a politician has a Freudian slip. Unlike yourself, most voters are more concerned about the issues facing the country than they are about the irrelevant nonsense that people like yourself get so inexplicably worked up about and draw laughably absurd conclusions from. I literally sometimes feel a dull pain in the pit of brain when I read some of the asininity that you post on a daily basis.
