How do they get 94% of respondents to offer an opinion about Brian Sandoval and 100% to give an answer on Obama's job approval? No other poll has these kind of response rates.

lol, at lease there is one Reid in the family who is more likely to lose. Now, the Reid that matters will be sailing in November to keep his majority rule.

Why is they blaming Reid in not blaming the Republican Governor who is in office? How can Sandoval have a job approval that high when his fellow Republican is doing a terrible job as Governor? Why would Nevada choose another Republican when their Republican Governor have not done anything for the State? Nevada is blaming Reid for everything, but their Republican Governor is responsible for creating jobs which he have not done.Republicans don't create jobs,so why is America trusting a party that lost millions of jobs doing the Bush administration.

This is one reason why I think that Harry Reid has a good chance of losing. There's likely to be a Republican landslide at the top of the ticket, so it could help Angle down the ballot. In addition, with the other Reid getting drubbed on Election Day, that can't really help Daddy Reid with the voters.

"How can Sandoval have a job approval that high"

Elementary, Melvin. It's because he is Hispanic. I thought you knew.

@ melvin-

It's called being the son of Harry Reid in a state that doesn't like the Reid name anymore. Plus, it's a Republican year. Plus, Sandoval has no ties to Gibbons. This isn't rocket science.

Staty Polly so is the Republican that is running in New Mexico is Latino. These people are being used by the GOP,people like Rubio in a few Black candidates who is running for Congress. The GOP do not want America to see the same old picture come August of 2012 at their convention, showing only 2 Minorities on the floor.

I know this is hard to believe, but politicans and government don't create many jobs. The private sector creates jobs. You act like politicans just push some button or pull some lever and the jobs start cranking out. We go through business cycles in this capitalistic economy and, yes, the policies of the various levels of government can affect that cycle, but for the most part, politicans are simply at the mercy of the cycle. We had 100 out of 104 quarters of GDP growth from the fourth quarter of 1982 to the fourth quarter of 2007, then the wheels fell off. It happens. The cycle will turn back up soon and the jobs will come back, it will just take some time.

Maybe NV Latinos don't know who this Sandoval is but assume that, because of his Spanish last name, he is some sort of pro-Hispanic, pro-Immigration good guy, which he likely isn't because he's a right-winger. Any cross-tab on Hispanics for this poll?

You are obsessed with race and racial boogeymen. It's not healthy.

The Republican Party wants to survive. Because of that, you will see them reaching out to more and more minority candidates to try to get them elected so that they have a more ethnically diverse face. But, don't expect them to throw their conservative ideology in the toilet. If anything, the minority Republicans you are seeing winning their primaries this year are more hardcore right-wing than most major Republicans figures of the 1970s and 1980s.

What's it matter, jack? Rory Reid is toast even if he gets 80% of the Latino vote. He doesn't have a chance. The only reason Harry Reid is still in the game is because his opponent is a fruitcake. Way to go Nevada Republicans!

The Republican party is not looking good in the Hispanic cummunity.Next week Telemundo along with Latino Metrics is going to release a poll showing 8o% of Hispanics supporting the party who favors Immigration reform with a path to Citizenship, also 80% of Hispanics are planning to go to the polls in November up from 54% in 2006 according to the Latino Metrics poll thats going to be released next week. The media in the pollsters didnot expect the Latino vote to turn out in 2006, and now they are doing the samething this year.If 80% of Hispanics show up to the polls in November,it simply means the Republicans are going to be in for a very long night.

Melvin, Hispanics are not one monolithic entity, but the dislike for Reid amids 14% unemployment is affecting the other Reid. Now, the Senate and House is where it matters to both party since its where legislations are made. Angle is the gift that keep on giving to Reid, somewhere, there must be a God that likes him, lol.

Its too early to predict this, but majority of Hispanics will vote for a Dem only in swing states that matter thou.

JMSTiger: Fox News has been using race the 1st day Obama took office,Megan the witch is trying to start a race war in this Country.I blame Fox News 100% for Obama approval rating dipping to 36% with non-Hispanic voters.Megan Kelly should think about what she is doing.Blacks and Hispanics feel the Republican party only preaches hate.
