I think Paterson has been railroaded. It was his aids not him who were involved in harrassment cases. To me what Paterson has done is unethical but not a reason to step down. If so, than I think John Ensign, Mark Sanford and the governor of Nevada should also step down today as well. It is clearly a witch hunt.

It is also puzzling that the two politicians in the news for ethics violations and may have to step down are Rangel and Paterson, both African American. There could be nothing to it, but it certainly does raise some questions.

If every politician who did the kinds of things in NY state that both Rangel and Paterson have done, many cities and districts would be without a leader. It is a epedemic in NY state.

Who cares about this. Stop polling paterson for crying out loud. He is unpopular and is unelectable...end of story. Can we spend resources polling things that matter.

I actually have found something that I agree with Stillow with. It is ridiculous that they would waste so much time on a unelectable governor. In NY, they have to make a mountain out of a molehill. It has always been this way in NY politics.

NY, like California, has become ungovernable. Just let the states fail already. They are just Greece but not as far along.

Greece at least has nice weather and a universal health care plan, as well as great food, so I don't think the Greeks are letting politics get the better of them. They enjoy life too much for that.

Yeah, I heard the person who commented about me saying CA and NY are just like Greece but not as far along. That is that great European style social Democracy for you! It works so much better than whatever kind of democracy you would call the US.
