It doesn't matter for Christ sakes. Hawiia has a Republican governor. Kentucky has a Democrat governor. Kansas had a very liberal governor on many issues (Kathleen Sebelius
). It's all about getting the right candidate.

Considering the Dem primary is way more split than the republican primary this is a classic case of polling "too early to call" when almost 60% of the electorate is undecided.

I don't think the GOP is dead. But, it has tons of issues. There's not one Republican congressman in New England. There's only two Republicans congressmen in New York States (thanks Doug Hoffman). They have tons of issues despite a few little good polls in states like PA
