Emily,
The title link for this poll has Onorato at 28% and the write-up has it at 38%. I'm guessing the title is wrong.

Holding pattern here at the moment. Look for this to tighten as Corbett's favorables go down somewhat during the campaign (once the attack ads start); still looks like Repubs will pick this one up though. This result is consistent with the last (Quinn I think) poll here.

On another front...Mason Dixon just released a "shocker" poll out of NV, which has Reid leading Angle by 7% and Reid up to 45%. Angle's unfavorables jumped 18 points from 25% to 43% (her fave/unfave is 33/43 now).

Maybe jilted ("too librul" Repub) Bob Bennett of Utah is right when he says that Harry's got it in the bag thanks to the TP crowd.

Thanks, Crimsonite. Title is corrected.

Corbett made a statement in my hometown regarding unemployment benefits that probably was not well received in this blue collar state. I am not sure if this was polled before or after he made those comments. i have only seen one sign for Corbett. No ads either. i wonder when they are going to start. Rendell is hurting Onorato though. Pa is like the country in a way. We tend to switch parties for governor almost every 8 years. Rendell, Ridge/Schweitzer, Casey (dem), Thornburgh (R) was in there too

My guess would be sometime in September? It's mid July which means summer vacation, baseball and not really thinking about politics.

Yeah, calling the unemployed lazy is shameful Mr Corbett. Once he is exposed the polls will tighten. The favorables on PPP were down for Corbett, and there is no excuse for arrogant statements like that. The respectable Republicans like Huchinson, and Lugar may not vote to extend unemployment, but they will at least say it is that they don't want to lead to the deficit, but Sharron Angle and Corbett and others have this idea that all unemployed people are welfare queens or drug users, which was some smartass remark made by Orrin Hatch to encourage drug tests.

The bottom line is that the money the unemployed people get is peanuts and you can't support a family on it. I am truly scared at some of the cruel and insensitive people out there who would vote for these heartless bastards like COrbett.
