Only 8 in Toomey's internal.

It's not out of hand, but Sestak better come up with a compelling narrative soon if he wants to close the gap.

Cederico:

I agree Bob. Sestak is still withing striking distance as Toomey has yet to seal the deal like Portman has in neighboring Ohio.

I still argue the key to a Sestak victory is rallying the DEM base which outnumbers the GOP partisans by over 1.2 million voters in PA. If I were Sestak I would spend most my time in Philly and its suburbs trying to GOTV.

You guys are kidding yourselves if you think this isn't over. This race was one of the most televised during the primaries and one of the earliest primaries as well. If it hasn't tightened over the last 6 months, it probably isn't going to.

FM,

Thanks for clearing that up for us much appreciated. You know what I think the dems should just stop campaigning all together because according to FM the election is over and the votes have been counted already. Very good time to focus on football and the upcoming baseball playoffs. Btw- taxes go north come January.

CHRIS MERKEY:

Sestak just started running ads in the past couple of weeks. Toomey's support, I just don't see it here in Lancaster COunty. He has to do well here to overcome the PHilly/ Pittsburgh margins. Montgomery is the key though. Whoever takes that county wins this election. I believe TOomey is too far right for Montgomery county but I guess we shall see. Not to mention this is a Republican internal pollster. It's within MOE and Sestak will close it by the November 3.
