POLL: ARG Colorado Primary

A new American Research Group statewide survey of likely voters in Colorado (conducted 7/15 through 7/18) finds:

  • Among 600 Republicans, former Mayor Rudy Giuliani (at 35%) leads former Sen. Fred Thompson (20%), Sen. John McCain (11%), and former Gov. Mitt Romney (9%) in a statewide primary.
  • Among 600 Democrats, Sen. Hillary Clinton leads Sen. Barack Obama (39% to 22%) in a statewide primary; former Sen. John Edwards trails at 10%, Gov. Bill Richardson at 8%.

Comments
Paul:

Since the ARG April poll, moves were Clinton +5, Edwards -7, Richardson +6, Giuliani +10, McCain -12, Thompson +10. Loss of support for Edwards and McCain consistent with other states. In this survey, Giuliani and Clinton are strong.

Hack:

Earth to ARG - there is no Colorado presidential primary. It's a closed caucus, so no independents either. And why are you polling Wes Clark?
