Duh? Maybe because Brown University is located in Providence, Rhode Island!!!
I also strongly suggest that you click on the link and read the narrative, because it has much more info than shown here... aka "issues."

wow, even in blue RI over 20 % of former Clinton backers are supporting McCain.
20 Percent!

Toybo,
Many of the Clinton supporters (during primaries) are Republicans anyway. They voted for Bush in 2000 and 2004. 25% of Clinton supporters voting for McCain should not excite you much.
I am really amazed how McCain supporters can look at this poll in a positive way when their candidate looses by 21%. Let me tell you another good news for McCain: "he is leading among voters who think George W Bush was the best president ever."

Who said this poll was good for McCain????

swing.. anything to back that up with?
Speaking of making things up.. Obama's choice to perform at a stage made up to look like a greek stage is a little "britney spear-ish"
will he bring his own presidential seal again?
and will having a theater set to perform at finally create a bounce in the polls?

@ Tybo
It's called a "logo," you might have heard of it. It's a marketing scheme - virtually everything with logo is promoting something. Unfortunately for you, John McCain's camp fails to recognize this for the marketing potential, and so they don't make one of their own (at this point it would be hypocritical if they did anyway.)
And also, when was the last time it was a bad thing to be popular? The last thing we need is another unpopular president. (Remember the one we have right now?)

Well, glad we checked in briefly with Rhode Island to make sure it's not an issue.

Obama dropped his dead chicken "logo" because even Chris Matthews laughed his butt off at it.
It was funny.. if you don't mind admitting that Obama's ego is bigger that the stadium he's going to toga around in tomorrow night.

These polls, although not surprising, are responsible for providing data on states that that are very blue and very red. The more data the better I say.

Tybo,
Bush wanted to give his 2004 acceptance speech at Yankee Stadium. The major thing preventing it was scheduling - not enough time between Yankee games to set up the stadium, and tear down before the next Yankee home stand. They didn't ask for the use of the stadium in a timely manner to allow the baseball team to make alternate arrangements.
And that is an indication of what? Poor planning comes to mind, a hallmark trait of the entire duration of the Bush administration.

mike..
yeah, more obama,jr is the same as bush,jr.
just what we don't need
and now, obama and his campaign have forced a stop to the roll call vote... a first ever.
"count every vote"
now that's a lie for both sides.
