Idiotic poll. Once Obama actually announces his VP pick, obviously the overwhelming majority of delegates (I'd guess 80-90%) will vote for him/her at the convention.

@voteforamerica: the problem with your claim is that we don't actually know how many "Clinton delegates" are left! We know how many she won in the primaries; but she will almost certainly have less than that at the convention. (E.g., she herself is voting for Obama, and presumably for his preferred VP pick...)

This poll will just serve as a good reminder on November 5th that Obama could have won the election if he'd selected Clinton as his running mate. Instead, he'll show his overconfidence and arrogance and select someone lackluster like Biden, allowing McCain to select someone exciting and go on and win the election. Just watch.

In other words, once we take away all the choices, we'll find nearly everyone "agrees."

Take it down to brass tacks - Obama won't pick Clinton because he is scared of her. He knows he can't control her because the very notion is absurd. She'd overshadow him. And the affluent middle-aged white men in the media (Jack Welch's boys) - would fall right back into sexist mode, talking about "who's really in charge" and "has she unmanned him." She scares the hell out of those guys.

No, I expect Obama will pick someone who represents the opposite of one of his "core" principles - whether its voting for Iraq, not being pro-choice, etc. - a fair number of delegates will be ticked off, and they'll be told to get in line or get out.
