Oh, right, the Club for Growth says Lautenberg is losing. LOL! That's funny. It may be closer than usual, but Lautenberg is certainly not quaking in his pants.

This race is close! The NRSC should heavily invest in this race!

At least, as a Democrat, I hope they blow their limited funds here. But, that's probably wishing for too much stupidity from even them.

538 has DEM projected +12.8. Average is 11.5 ... so please explain this poll. If polling firm is not using a fair approach, perhaps they should not be reported on pollster.com?

Interesting first question on that survey:

"1. When there are presidential elections in New Jersey, do you always vote, almost always vote, vote some of the time, hardly ever vote, or never vote? If you are not registered to vote in New Jersey, just say so."

The responses available:

Always
Almost always
Sometimes
Hardly ever
Never
DNK / Refused

If you answer always or almost always, the poll continues. If you answer anything else, the poll is terminated.

The ridiculous aspect of the responses:

91% of the respondents stated 'always' and 9% of the respondents stated 'almost always'.

I wonder if there has EVER been a single election in the US when 91% of the registered voters actually voted, let alone 91% of the voters vote in election after election after election? And I wonder how many people they had to call to get 400 respondents they claim in their 'sample'?

I think there were a lot of people lying to this pollster. Since it's a Republican-favoring poll and pollster, though, it just reinforces my opinion that the neo-cons don't know how to do anything but lie.

Mike
