this poll is meaningless. 34% undecided, and SS=175? Arizona has ~4mil eligible voters. For a reasonable margin of error, the SS would need to be ~600 (I was a stats major)
For what the poll is worth, I'm betting the other 34% is leaning Dukakis.
"First, we would like to know who you will probably vote for president this November." What kind of way is that to conduct a poll? No wonder they got 34% undecided. (The question is not even grammtically correct.)
Not to be too snippy about it, but I wonder if journalism students drew up and conducted the poll.
We need more polls from McCain's home state...not. Of course he's going to win Arizona. If he loses Arizona then he's really screwed. In that respect, 38% for McCain is absolutely terrible! He should be polling well over 50%, I would think.
survey usa and ramussen have better things to do... than poll arizona and illinois
Isn't this a pretty worthless poll? 175 people? 7.4% margin of error? Why even bother?
And um, who exactly do the other 34% of Arizonans support?
