This tracks with previous polls. I do not know how bizarre this is... I do not know anything about Pearce, but Wilson was challenged pretty good in 2006 and she is implicated in the firing (as is outgoing Senator Pete Domenici) of popular U.S. Attorney General David Iglesias (basis for the movie "A Few Good Men").

These are just bizarre numbers for an open seat in a purple state. Not saying they're wrong, just that 61-35 is the kind of spread you expect from an incumbent considered 'safe.' Will the NRSC even bother to fund this race?
