Dead heat in terms of politics.

This should put an end to speculation of a 15-point spread.

Ras is with leaners, though; it's 40-49 for Obama without pushing leaners.

Why is there a consistent difference between Gallup and Rasmussen? It is true for the general elections but was like that during the Dem primaries. What's the methodological difference?

dead heat? yeah right. too bad 6 points isn't a "dead heat". mccain needs to be leading at this point, because once people see them side by side on a stage, it will be curtains for him. he will look like a decrepit old windbag next to obama's youth and vigor. the debates spell the end for the crypt keeper. maybe his buddy, bush, will create some "terror" alert hoax to help him out.

Whinerberry is the only person around that can see one poll with an Obama margin of 3 points, another poll with an Obama margin of 6 points (7 without leaners), each confirming a lead that has existed every day since Obama cinched the nomination, and call it a "dead heat".

I would love to play poker with this guy. Either his poker face is totally obvious, or he just loves the odds :)

But seriously, I think you have to be paid to be so consistently biased in the face of numbers that say otherwise.

I think you'll continue to be called out with one liner posts like your first that offer no warrant to explanation of your ideas. Just my opinion though...

Nickberry peppers every single comment thread with a pessimistic post about how Obama is doomed because of this or that. If you look hard enough you can find something worrysome about every single poll. If you look back through this guy's comment history you'll see that he's a Hillary dead-ender. His sole purpose on this site is to rile us all up. Every poll that comes out he makes some post about how its just not good enough for Obama. We're all doomed with Obama. His numbers are just not high enough. He needs to be leading John McCain by twelve gillion right now to be considered viable!! ahhhh!!!!! dooooooomed!!!

Get called out for "one liner" posts? Now we have rules that allow personal disparagement if one does not fully explain their ideas. Really?

FYI....A civil debate would involve a discussion of what is the meaning of "dead heat" in the context of politics... and NOT name-calling directed at other posters because one does not like their opinion.
