Gallup back up to 3. It's weird by now JM should be leading by a little bit for at least a few days in both daily trackers. Negative advertising works. It should be more reflective. Even Ras only has it by a point with leaners.
If the sate polls do not show more movement towards JM, the next ad will be the associations ad. If that doesn't work, I hear they have the woman from the Harold Ford ad ready to go.

1magine - LOL. Yeah, I hear the harold ford girl is the Republican House "sweetheart".
I think the last few weeks tracking was just noise.....

Ya, McCain needs good positive ads like the baby Alex ad.

It's energy policy stupid, if I can borrow a phrease for mthe glory days of Clinton. McCain wants to drill which the peole support, Obama wants us to inflate our tires, gee I wonder why Obama lost his big lead. At least here in the past few days he's doing a 180 and is now talking about more drilling. He has to, if Obama goes into election day without supporting drilling and just balbbeing about alternative energy he will lose. Increase the supply of oil, and the futures market will go down for oil. After W liften the ban, oil futures went down. Obama is a craftypolitician, but he's in a catch 22. To win he needs to support oil drilling, but doing so will tick off the left wing global warming kooks. I suspect he will end up supporting drilling.....because inflating tires vs drilling just makes him look like a nutcase. We need to drill and research alternative fuels, but what we years and years away from soemthign that will fully replace oil, its just how it is. Its the only issue McCain or the GOp have for that matter is energy......Pelosi is scared to death to allow a vote on drilling which is why she ran for the hills......people want more drilling right now to lower prices and they want research into better fuel sources....Mccain is for both, Obama is for one...he will flip flop, I promise you...and start supporting drilling.

Gawd, here comes a believer of creationism with more BS! SURPRISE SURPRISE!
Let me beatdown the dimwit right quick -
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/07/30/eveningnews/main4309471.shtml?source=mostpop_story
According to the federal government's own Department of Energy, drilling off America's coasts would not have a significant impact on domestic oil production or prices before 2030. And off-shore leasing wouldn't even begin before 2012.
Why? Because the leasing process is cumbersome. And currently, there aren't enough rigs or workers or refineries to handle more oil.
Then there's this. Most of the U.S. offshore oil, almost 10 billion barrels, lie off the coast of California. But at the current rate of U.S. consumption - about 20.7 million barrels a day - that would be burned up in 16 months.
"It would have a pretty modest effect even when it did start flowing," said U.C. Berkeley energy researcher Severin Borenstein.
Borenstein says it might drop pump prices as much as 25 cents a gallon in 10 years or more, but: "I think it is very unlikely that we will ever see oil prices that get us back to $2 a gallon or even $3 a gallon."

Wow! How does it feel to get beat down....yet again?
Why don't you go post at foxnews.com. Thanks.
By the way, ever hear of a little term called "statistical noise"? No, yeah I didn't think so.....

With leaners
Obama 47%
McCain 45%
They were within moe (2%) on JUNE 6!!
Yeah, there goes your bogus argument....oops, sorry about that.
And remember, rass is a conservative that robo-polls. Good for robots, not so good for people.

I can no longer discuss these types of things with you...its like discussing issues with a brick wall. Trust me, your God-like boy Obama will flip flop and support drilling. Your article is pointless, there are hundreds of people on hudnreds of different sides. Some say 2 years, some say 5, some say 10, some say 40....but anyone with a brain knows if you increase supply, you lower prices. If I use 10 gallns of milk per day and the store only makes 8, hte price is high because you're using it all, if I use 10 gallons of milk and the store makes 30, hte price goes down because supply outpaces demand.
I know as a liberal its in your talking points to be opposed to drilling at all costs and that is fine. You keep thinking that. So increasing oil supply will lower prices, not to $10 a barrel, but it will lower prices. The price of oil is ties to the dollar which is very very weak, so oil prices have no choice but to stay high, if we strengthen the ollar and increase oil supplies, hte oil will come down.
But by all means continue to lcaim victory and I hope your kooky left wing freinds convince Obama to say opposed to drilling so he will lose by a larger marging.
And please don't send cbs news link, just like nbc that network's news division is a laughing stock. I think probably you and 7 others watch nbc anymore and cbs isn't doing much better.

See, now you've just gone off the deep end, cbs respectful? Yes the network of Dan rather, hey let smake soemthing up and forge some documents and run with it.....fox news kills the networks in ratitings, doesn't just beat them, they kill them. Because Americans are tired of the left wing domianted MSM as you cal lit, the main stream folks are out of ouch, and that is why fox kicks the living daylights out of them i nthe ratings.
So while your talking to me about cbs links and berkely elitists, the real world watches actual news and not left wing media. With al lthe power of the libeal media obama still is goign to lose this election....and though you won't admit it now, you will cry because he is goign to flip flop on drilling, he's already talking about it. Because I know what your left wing media is telling you about drilling, so you keep going with that. We have billions of barrels to be drilled, so you keep talking aout china and india, the gop will wi nthe drilling argument and we will end up increasing our domestic supply.
you libs live in fantasy land, its why you simply cannot win elections....you lose time and time again. Mcgovern, Carter, Mondale, Duakakis, Gore, Kerry. The only Democrat to even win two terms was Clinton, a southern moderate. And still, he couldn't even get half the people to support him as he never broke 50%.....Carter won following Watergate and the country was in such ruin they voted him out in a massive landslide. Your policies are failures, everything you touch goes to hell, welfare, social security...every program designed and implemented by the liberals collapses and ends up with no means to support itself. And yet, you still don't get it. You continue to lose and sit and wonder why the rest of us are sto stupid. I think the left suffers from a bad case of being a poor loser. When Obama loses in 2008 I am sure he will whine too, after all how could the second coming of the almighty Lord lose? He will sue and whine like the left has learned to do so well.
You just keep losing, and the funny part of it for us normal people, is you can't even see why..........its cus your ideas are moronic, they don't work...tax the rich, blah blah....IT DOES NOT WORK! And even when you do happen to dupe the country into voting for you like you did with Carter, the country runs as fast as they can away from you in the next election. Its probably why your so angry and bitter...and you quote sources from places like Berkeley and cbs.....we pitty you, your side is a laughing stock, you will continue to lose elections until you finally get some brains and realize your policies are failures. Everywhere liberals have power in htis country, that city is in horrible economic shape....and yet you still wonder why.
The rest of us will keep moving on, you guys keep thinking your enlightened and all knowing and we will keep winning elections why you grow more and more bitter trying to find new groups of victims to appeal to. Keep figuring out what freedoms you can legislate away in the name of bogus causes liek global warming. Keep thinking oil is the devil. Keep thinking tax the rich works. Blah blah blah.....its gives the rest of us soemthing to chuckle about, time after time after time.
For being such an intelligent highly enlightened liberal who is by far superior to the rest of us, you should say some stupid things........again, its no wonder why you guys can't win national elections.

The real issue that should be discussed about McCain's energy policy is "how is supposed to work?" So you say you're going to drill the OCS. So what. The Brazilians said they found Saudi sized reserves off their coat. Not ripple in the oil futures. Because until you can produce it they don't care. The number one investor so far in alternative energy is the oil companies. So ask yourself why they would bet big against themselves. They invest in so they can control it. So with McCain's "program" you got no program. Opening up OCS just lowers the investment risk for the Oil companies. They will continue to sell high priced oil but want to take as little risk as they can. That's just rational but it doesn't fix the problem.

ATV/Zogby Poll Toss-Up! McCain 42%, Obama 41% as Undecided Voters Increase

atreides
that is a very plausible argument....the oil comapnies maintain a pretty consistent profit margin, about 8% I think, so wheather the price is $10 or $150, they make the same profit in percentage.....they happen to sell a product that is heavily consumed, so the #'s look high.
Drilling will help, is it the answer, of course not, but we are decades away from finding a replacement for oil....so we need to drill for the oil we know is there to increase supply and find new energy sources, the answer is both, not oen or the other.
