The only interesting thing about this poll is how Lieberman would be destroyed if his seat was up for election today.
But yes, fewer polls from Utah, Hawaii, ect. plz.
Three Connecticut polls in a day! Next!
FWIW, DailyKos usually just pays for the Senate polls by R2K, with some other client funding the Prez numbers. Of course the Kossacks are obsessed with Liebermann, so they poll his race 2 years after it's over.
Guys! C'mon -- Markos polled CT for more reasons than Obama v. McCain. he specifically polled it with regards to Lieberman, and his plummeting approval rating and a buyer's remorse match-up between Lamont and Lieberman (which Lamont is now leading by double digits, btw). 2012 can't come soon enough for that weasel!
Last three CT. polls: Obama +22, 17 and 21. Bush approval rating in CT. is 19%. Lieberman's support for McCain is not enough to help McCain bring this race under single digits. Lieberman has lost significant support from Democrats and some support from Independents. In addition, Obama enjoys some popularity with Republicans.
Let's talk up Liebermann for Veep - it could be pitched as part of JMC's "northern strategy" - or an attempt to make BHO compete in what should be safe territory.
Next best quixotic VP choice for JMC would be Tim Pawlenty of MN - another state he's going to lose anyway.
I think Kos did the poll simply because Joe is such an unfavorite person to them - best way, though, to shut him up is to elect BHO and a solid dem. majority in the Senate.
yawn.
i can't wait for the next poll from illinois, new york, or cali.
why are they polling this? what a waste of money.
where are the polls of the western states that obama could actually pick off? (ND, MT)
