POLL: Ebony/Jet South Carolina Dem Primary

A new Ebony/Jet South Carolina survey (story, results; conducted 1/19 through 1/22 by Ron Lester & Associates) finds:

  • 600 Likely Democratic Primary Voters (± 2.9%)

    37 Obama
    27 Clinton
    15 Edwards
    22 Don't Know/Not Sure

Among a subsample of African-Americans, Obama leads Clinton (53% to 21%).

The variation from poll to poll in the numbers of undecided/dts/other is fascinating - 22% in Ebony/Jet, 12% in Zogby, 36% in Clemson University...

I realized when I checked the SC Dem chart that there isn't a column for "don't know / other." I know the number is there implicitly, but I think it would be awfully nice to have the figure in a column so one could easily visually track the variation. This is primarily because I am lazy. Or maybe I'm just not looking in the right place?

Maybe undecided /dts /other could also get its own line in the sensitivity charts, like Old Blue and Ready Red - it could be "Elusive Ecru" or something.
