Obama 46, Clinton 45
Let me just preempt Jon with the following:
With all of the money Obama is spending, he better win all 4 states on Tuesday. This bad news for him that with all of the money and all of the states he won, he doesn't have the media created hype, "MOMENTUM" and voters are feeling "Buyers Remorse" with Obama. I love Jack Nicholsen

O.K. Now that that's done with, we don't have to discuss it.
A real question: Is this Mason-Dixon's first poll in Texas as seems to be indicated by the Texas chart page?

Also, are they allowing survey to determine the proportions of latino and african-american voters, or are they weighting them based on some projection? Their percent hispanic (27%)seems consistent with other polls, although on the conservative (low) end, and their AA vote (22%) also seems reasonable, although slightly higher than earlier polls. But I'm willing to accept both figures. It would be nice to know, however, if these are the proportions they are actually polling.

Ooops. I apologize. In my glance at the Texas page, the sole Mason-Dixon poll was the other poll they've done. This current one just hasn't made it onto the Texas page yet. So, it looks like these 2 polls are bouncing around in MOE-land. Perhaps Obama has hit his plateau? The Pollster.com trendline is starting to flatten out too, so that seems to corraborate that idea.

Those percentages are people who were actually polled...see Mark's post on Texas demographics from last week
LwPhD, I tend to think its less of a plateau and more of a "things havent changed that much in the race" in the last few days. But with both candidates at ~45, it's going to come down to the way the remaining 10% break. Should be interesting. If they split 50-50 on Tues we could be in for a long night!

It looks like Republicans will decided the outcome of the Texas elections. Even though Obama is more liberal than Clinton, Republicans hate Hillary in a personal level. 76%' of Texas Republicans plan to vote for Obama, while 20% plan to do so for Clinton, according to a Newsweek article about the "Obamacans".

LwPhD was making fun of someone who kept posting partisan pro-Clinton comments in every thread. Please don't start in with pro-Obama comments. There are many sites that welcome partisan discussions. If you don't know of one, take a look at the Huffington Post.
This site is about analyzing poll results, not cheerleading for one candidate other another.
