You know, I just realized something and I don't know where to put it...I remember seeing something about weekend polling here and how Sunday afternoon/evening was actually a great day to catch people at home. This sunday is the Super Bowl! How are any of the final polls going to be able to account for this? Half the nation is going to be somewhere else watching the game. Basically we won't get to know the real impact of the debate tonight, as we have to question any movement over the weekend.

great point! It's Iowa all over again with the holiday travel. Wouldn't it make more sense that older people would be less inclined to go out (Clinton voters), and the younger crowd will be out and about (Obama people).

Something to keep in mind.

Although it's my impression that most Sunday calling is done early to mid afternoon. I'm sure that polling firms will do what they can to avoid calling during the Super Bowl. Response rate would be dismal.

Early to mid-afternoon might work on the east coast (you still have a few hours between church letting out and super bowl parties starting), but there is almost NO window on the west coast, where the game starts around 3pm.

Note that this poll is not of caucus-goers, so the the universe is obviously quite different that next Tuesday.

How stupid is this logic. Young voters hardly vote becasue they are too lazy to keep down their beer and move away from the TV.
If you Obama idiots are counting on them, you are up for a rude shock on Feb 5
