never mind - you've got it right, but the link took me to May 1 tracking polls. sorry
Apologies - link fixed
While McCain leads in these two tracking polls, the pro-Obama media focuses on the CBS/NY Times poll. Go figure.
It's the advantage media pollsters have. They can set the narrative on a Monday.
Even if Pew and Harris, to name two pollsters with very strong backgrounds, teamed up and released a poll today showing McCain ahead, the New York Times website along with its newspaper and CBS behind it would be the talk of the town, attracting by far most of the headlines.

You do realize that daily tracking polls are less considered than full fledged polls, correct? You first accuse the NYT/CBS of completely making up the numbers in their polls without even looking at the internals to see why the numbers are what they are. You now are claiming a vast media conspiracy against your candidate who has gotten better press than any of the other candidates in the race.
Come on now. Can we keep the conspiracy theories to a minimum and keep this discussion based on the numbers and rational thought.
Mark - should be Clinton 49, Obama 45 in the Gallup tracking poll - you've reversed them.
