A fairly consistent picture from today's Ohio polls. I would note that the one showing an 11-point margin (Q) was in the field a full week ago.

In the PPP poll, the party ID question is oddly phrased, just "Are you a Democrat/Republican/Other," nothing about "Do you consider yourself" and nothing about independents. Not saying it's wrong, just that I think most polls do it differently.

African-Americans make up 17% of the sample, which seems a bit low though not terribly, and break for Obama 76-24, which is definitely low. 85-15 is more like it.

Paul:

Interesting that Huckabee leads McCain among the young voters and that Huckabee and Paul combined easily defeat McCain among the independents. It's strange that McCain is stronger among the Republicans than among the independents in this poll.

Strange that Obama is losing the 30 and under crowd in that poll.
