A new Public Policy Polling (D) automated survey of likely primary voters in South Carolina (conducted 1/11 through 1/12) finds:

• 1027 Likely Republican Primary Voters (± 2.9%)
  
  28 McCain
  21 Huckabee
  17 Romney
  14 Thompson
  5 Giuliani
  5 Paul
  9 Undecided

• 510 Likely Democratic Primary Voters (± 4.3%)
  
  44 Obama
  31 Clinton
  16 Edwards
  1 Kucinich
  8 Undecided
  
  Among a sub-sample of African Americans, Obama leads Clinton (68% to 19%).
