As we all know, these have been the 3 most important swing states for many years now. No matter what happens in the nationwide popular vote, barring numerous historic and unprecendented swings of states from 'Red' to 'Blue' (or visa versa), whoever wins 2 of them wins the presidency. If Obama gets the nomination, he'll have a major uphill climb to carry any of them. The demographics, as evidenced here, in all 3 states, favor McCain or Clinton.
