As Rasmussen reports... this poll reflects similar numbers (the vote and Obama favorability of 57%) from TWO months ago, where last month appeared to show a bounce for Obama at the end of the Democratic Primary.

The only change is that McCain's favorability went up to 63% from 55% from two months ago.

Most notable is the consistency from state to state regarding the much larger very unfavorable and combined unfavorables for The Radical. The voters either love him or hate him. Also, even this poll shows the growing perception of media bias. That is why you won't see a big bounce after the Obama rockstar world tour. Everyone knows it's fake and stagged by the Obama Campaign/Media. Talk about a redundant statement...the Obama campaign & the media...the same thing.

Pollster.com has Obama ahead in NH at +6.1 and has NH as leaning DEM. RCP has NH at Obama +3.7 and toss-up. 538 is projecting Obama +2.7 and leaning DEM. This is the only New England state which presents a possibility for McCain. A reasonable scenario does show Obama needs to win in NH or another small state like MT, ND or NV.

The Senate race is key for the Democrats. The June Rasmussen had Shaheen up 14. Without this poll, 538 was projecting Shaheen +12.7 and this race likely DEM. Senator Clinton and former President Clinton can be helpful in certain parts of NH if they choose to help Shaheen's campaign.

I agree the Obush label won't stick. He's more of an O'Carter. They are like twins...meet with terrorists...raise the gas prices...etc.

I thought it was Reagan that met with terrorists (y'know sending Ollie and McFarlane to Teheran to meet with Ayatollah Khomenei. perestroikha, carrying the PLO by aircraft carrier out of Lebanon), and gas prices went up under Nixon (who also secretly had Kissenger meet with the enemy- the Red Chinese and North Vietmenese)- and Ford (Stagflation, gas lines, WIN buttons...it was just "psychological" with him. too).
