It's interesting to see these Barr & Nader numbers come in.

I don't get the voters who say they'll either vote for Nader or McCain, but not Obama...Who are these people? How can they favor policies that are polar opposite from each other? Maybe they're Clinton loyalists.

A 12-point advantage is simply too good to be true. Maybe further polls will back it up, but I'm hesitant to believe this one.

I would add all those Nader and Barr supporters to McCain in a two-way match up. So, I think that it could be something like Obama 51%, McCain 44%, more in sinc with other polls.

Where is all this BS about former Clinton voters coming from? There is no reference to such on this poll.

Regarding Nader... He is the polar opposite of BOTH Obama and McCain.

Obama has a very high favorability rating (mostly Democrats and Independents--mainly younger voters), but almost as many strongly dislike him (mostly Republicans and "Reagan" Democrats). McCain is in between where not that many people are very excited about him, but neither are they inordinately negative. Nader is a "brand" and has his own loyal following... Barr is running as a "Libertarian" ( another brand) which is more akin to Ron Paul (who also ran as Libertarian in 1988 but came in 3rd).

I still have not seen the gallup daily (9 pts) and Ras daily (forgot - saw it this morning) trackers posted yet. What's up with that?

Obama and his fans.

They don't need the Clinton supporters, or believe they'll get the Clinton supporters because there's no one else left to vote for.

It's the belief that Clinton supporters, especially women aren't important.
It runs thru Obama campaign and history.
