POLL: Times/Bloomberg National Primary

A new Los Angeles Times/Bloomberg national survey (Times story, results; Bloomberg story) of 1467 adults (conducted 11/30 through 12/3) finds:

  • Among 529 likely Democratic primary voters, Sen. Hillary Clinton leads Sen. Barack Obama (45% to 21%) in a national primary; former Sen. John Edwards trails at 11%.
  • Among 428 likely Republican primary voters, former Mayor Rudy Giuliani leads former Gov. Mike Huckabee (23% to 17%) in a national primary; former Sen. Fred Thompson trails at 14%, Sen. John McCain at 11%, former Gov. Mitt Romney at 9%, Rep. Ron Paul at 5%.
  • All other candidates receive less than five percent each.

Interesting.
Since the latest LAT/Bloomberg poll before this one, around October 19th, Rudy has lost 9 pts. while Huckabee gained 9%.

Huckabee can apparently win this thing, specially now that the Boston Globe is reporting that Mitt Romney was still employing illegal immigrants to mow his lawn as of today. That was as of today like I said, of course, since Romney just fired the company, after being caught.

the key from this poll is that Hillary gets 72% support from dems that she is ready to be POTUS.

Obama is at 38 percent.

Romney is also doubted among Rep at 37 percent.

It is amazing that the Press refuses to cover this issue consistently.

It's as if anyone who runs for President must be qualified because they are running for President.
