Oh my aching back. There are about four people in the entire US Senate who can understand a moderately complex scientific issue and Sununu is one of them. Shaheen was a pleasant cipher as governor, accomplishing very little. But the state is becoming bluer every year.
I suspect it is the three-decades long influx of people from other states, remarkably sure they know better, while the once-best-in-the-nation crime rates, SAT scores, and dropout rates decline yearly.
That suspicion may be unfair, anecdotally based on the people I work with. We may have supplied these meatheads locally.
