I don't think any one should take this too seriously!

why is no one talking about richardson?
all the talking heads have moved onto to kaine and bayh, why?
i still think he'll do this and it will certainly help with the startle factor since his name is now flying well under the msm radar.

An Obama-Kaine ticket is too easy to tag as inexperienced (Kaine was mayor of Richmond before Governor of VA).
The problem though is that Bayh and Biden both voted for the Iraq war.
The Obama campaign has painted themselves into corner by trying to appease the far left's anti-war agenda.
Hilarious post marctx--what a gimmick that text messaging is.

I think he's picking Kaine. Make a play for VA. Even though Kaine is quite boring....plus I beleive he is pro life and pro gun rights, might anger the far left slightly.
I really don't see Richardson as an asset to the ticket. Obama is in a real pickle. If he does not choose a woman, I think there's a percentage of female Clinton support that will either not vote or go McCain in protest. A lot of females feel it was their turn....Obama needs to win females or its goodnight for him.

bingo, stillow. but who?
sebelius is a nothing except for the gender card he needs and a 'thank you' (ie payback)for getting him those crucial delegates.
as talk grows with the lieberman pick, it behooves obama to try an independent or republican as well. the trick is getting into the mind of caroline kennedy (like she knows so much).
hmmm, who does she like? well, uncle ted likes
immigration policy that is robustly fair minded. he likes generous health care. he likes rapprochement. caroline also doesnt want obama to get physically targeted - she's had more than enough of that in her life.
so she might need someone, possibly hispanic and much more visibly so than richardson, someone who is more of a moving and controversial target but liberal enough.
i think he's gonna pick himself for veep too!
no kidding, honestly i dont know enough about the govs or senators to find someone who fits the bill but maybe one of you guys out there is the misty dark and furtive world of the blogosphere do.
if you come up with anything, let me know.

You really think McCain might go Lieberman? I just think the Repubs at the convention woudl flip out if Joe was the VP nominee. Conservatives are already forcing themselves to support McCain....putting Lieberman on might just make them backlash. I still think Romney is likely, perhaps Pawlenty. He has to put a strong fiscal conservative o nthe ticket or could suffer a backlash...
They are actually both in pickles...i don't recall a time whenthe VP was such a hard pick for both sides. Just another reason htis election is crazy.

well, i prefer pawlenty sin duda!!
but conservatives numerically count for less than the independents and 'others' mccain could possibly pick up. plus, who else could they vote for?
if they sit on their hands it's a vote for obama. they know this and when push comes to shove... they'll swallow hard but vote mccain no matter who he runs with.

Voice. Get a job or something. How many times do you need to be banned before you move on with your life. I'm sure boskop doesn't even know your cat.

Barr 6 Nader 2??
Surely this indicates the unreliability of internet polling?

Does the Obama campaign get extra money as a donation if we text them? Like when you subscribe to one of those "who has a crush on you" lists that they advertise during the daily show?

@Stillow: I think you're wrong about picking a woman and the impact on clinton voters.
Clinton supporters don't support her just because she's a woman.
The older blue-collar female Clinton supporters want Hillary because of who she is and since they see her as a pro-social pro-education person. There are also many women that hate her for the same exact thing. This is not the same as AA support for Obama which is much more consistent. It's like the love-hate that some jews have with Lieberman despite his background.
If Obama picks a woman, and especially if he picks Sibelius or McCaskill who were fairly antagonistic to HRC, that would spite off these voters even more and be a slap in their faces. Sort of like picking the younger more popular secretary or something like that over the wife.
If Obama doesn't pick HRC as a VP (which he won't do, of course), then picking a woman is probably one of the greatest mistakes he can make (not that any mistake he makes can actually cost him the white house).
who see him pick a woman, especially if it's an early supporter like McCaskill would get even angrier.
