Marc Ambinder's latest piece (the original link above takes you there) asks why the White House would say that Pres. Obama is going to MA to campaign for Coakley. As with the Reid Wilson piece, some of the reasons why seem instead to argue against going at all.

Perhaps Obama will resolve the contradictions by making a stealth campaign appearance; a carefully controlled event on a tight schedule. Get in, let fly, get out. On the other hand, bad weather on Sunday might be a good excuse to just phone it in.
