This is garbage. There is no way that Obama's approval rating jumped so high in VA and MO compared to SurveyUSA's last poll. While these numbers might be more realistic than their last release's, they certainly aren't any more accurate in terms of how they were gotten.
Everyone's mediocre in this, its like there is really no clear thing going on here than 50/50's or expected unpopulars in states where Obama barely won.

The VA numbers from the Oct-Nov time frame had to have been influenced by the VA elections. Lots of commercials, speeches, etc on both sides. While I can't offer any similar explanation for the MO numbers, I would not consider these numbers to be way out in left field.

Everyone being mediocre, with just a few exceptions, would suggest to me an anti-incumbent sentiment. It might be a good time to be a political newcomer. Run Stillow Run!
It isn't really a coincidence that Obama's approval in the south not including Florida, is around 41 percent. Since the south is about 25-30 percent African American, you can do the math and figure out how many whites approve of him. I predict that there will be more conservadems defecting to the GOP, and I am willing to bet, they will all be from the south. Al Gore wrote books to praise his New South while he was running for president, and realized that even he couldn't win his home state.
Look at that Virginia number. WA and OR are closer than I thought they would be.
