This Poll is a wake up call for Obama and Biden as well as the rest of our foreign policy leaders that Democrats can't acheive victory in a war that should have been faced 7 years ago. If Obama is duped into thinking anything positive can come out of going into Afghanistan than it could sabotage his success as president.

Committing more resources and lives to this 35 year old civil war has the potential for political disaster for this President. The American people are in no mood for foreign nation building when they perceive this nation is still in economic turmoil.

Obama is suffering from the isolation of White House group-think. His instincts tell him it is a mistake, I believe,to escalate our involvement. He is bowing to pressure from his military advisers to do so. Tragically, we have seen this movie before, and it doesn't end well.

It is time for this President to lead and say no to the Generals. We voted for Obama to lead this country, not the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
